Discover France was honored to take part of the Adventure Travel World Summit in Namibia this week. The Adventure Travel Trade Association is a global membership organization that helps transform travel businesses into advocates for sustainability and justice worldwide.
The conference was a great occasion to connect people of the adventure travel industry in a very congenial and energetic atmosphere. And we learned a lot and are more more than ever committed to providing travel experiences that are responsible and Earth-friendly.
Here are some photos we took to share with you:
Opening event in the Parliament Gardens of Windhoek, with the President of Namibia in attendance!
Arrival at the semi wild campsite in Skitzoppe for the 2-day biking trip that launched our Pre-Summit Adventure
Attendants get ready to dine in the mysterious Namibian Moon Valley, which was close to Swakopmund, where the Summit was located.
An unforgettable meal in between rocks in the desert.
Each company or tourism board attending gets just four minutes to exchange with journalists, chief editors and so on… was important to prepare for this!
