The ride ends back in Avignon, where visitors can choose to take a train back to Paris or add on extra days in France. We look for routes that avoid the traffic and connect with the region’s highlights.

Provence is one of the most beautiful regions of France, with its stunning lavender fields, vineyards and ancient heritage, and of course the stunning beaches of the Cote d’Azur. Here the weather is mild even in autumn and winter, so you can avoid the summer heat by going there in September, October, even November ! Moreover by the end of summer you will be able to see the lavender harvest, or experience the grape picking time and the “vendanges”, which are both part of the local tradition.

Orientation in Avignon explains the route book so participants can ride at their own pace.
