Our adventure of the Pyrenees and the Tour de France 2025 route starts at Toulouse airport or train station in the early afternoon. At this meeting point, we'll welcome the group before a 2-hour transfer to our hotel in about Lourdes. Nestling in the heart of the Pyrenees, Lourdes reveals its charm as a picturesque village, offering the ideal starting point for discovering the region's legendary passes. After a brief orientation and bike fitting, take the time to explore the village on foot or venture out by bike along some superb routes starting directly from the hotel. That evening, we'll gather for a convivial dinner at the hotel restaurant, where we'll toast the beginning of this exceptional adventure.

Today, you’ll embark on a challenging and iconic ride through the Pyrenees, with a stunning loop starting and ending in Lourdes, heading towards the legendary Col du Tourmalet. This climb is one of the most famous in the Tour de France and has a rich history of fierce competition among the world’s best cyclists.

Your ride begins in Lourdes, a town known for its religious significance and stunning views of the Pyrenean mountains. From here, you’ll make your way to Argelès-Gazost, a small town nestled in the valley, before starting the ascent to the Col du Tourmalet. The climb spans 19 km with an average gradient of around 7.4%, but the views along the way make every pedal stroke worth it. The road winds up through forests and rocky slopes, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you approach the summit, the feeling of accomplishment is palpable as you reach 2,115 meters—the highest paved pass in the central Pyrenees.

Once at the top, take in the incredible views before beginning your descent, following the same route back down to Lourdes. Your ride begins in Lourdes, heading towards the quaint village of Arthez-de-Béarn, where the climb to Col du Soulor begins. This ascent is demanding, with an average gradient of around 7.5% over 9.5 km, and it offers some spectacular views of the surrounding Pyrenean peaks. Once you reach the summit, you’ll descend toward the base of the legendary Col d'Aubisque.

The Col d'Aubisque is a true Tour de France legend, known for its grueling climb that has tested the best riders for decades. The climb spans 16 km with an average gradient of 7.1%, but what makes it truly special are the views of the valley below and the sheer scale of the mountains that surround you. PODIUM-DAY - CROSS THE FINISH LINE

Meeting at the starting point and preparation

We’ll meet in the morning near the Tour route at an easily accessible parking area where you can leave your vehicle, located about 30 km from the finish of the day’s stage. We’ll enjoy a breakfast of pastries and coffee to introduce ourselves to our team and explain the day’s program in detail. We will then adjust the bikes to your body type to ensure you're in the best possible condition.

Experience the stage!

Set off to cover the last 30 to 40 kilometers that separate you from the finish of the stage! Our bike guide will be by your side to accompany and advise you throughout the day, while our van guide will stay at the back of the group, allowing everyone to ride at their own pace and call on assistance if needed.

Crossing the finish line

Realize your wildest dreams and cross the finish line as a Tour de France rider! Like the peloton, you’ll enjoy closed roads for the occasion and have an official car escorting you as you pass the finish line of the day’s stage, cheered on by the crowd already gathered along the roads. Feel free to take photos at the finish line to capture this exceptional moment.

You will then have the incredible privilege of standing on the official Tour de France podium, allowing you to keep a memorable souvenir of this unforgettable day.

Passing of the pro riders

You’ll have time to gather your thoughts while waiting for the peloton of the Tour de France to pass by.

Our guides will have prepared an authentic and delicious picnic close to the finish.

You’ll be right next to the race and can imagine what the riders are experiencing at that moment. At the end of the day, you’ll return to the starting point by bike or van, depending on available routes.
