Embark on a whimsical walking tour through the charming villages of Alsace and the famous Christmas Markets. Along your journey you will explore enchanting landmarks that will bring you to the most beautiful Christmas markets, and each of them has its own unique aspect. Discover handcrafted ornaments, regional delicacies, while being coated with the tantalizing aroma of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts. As the sun declines, the beautiful twinkling lights are revealed and will bring you to a fantasy, unique universe in the midst of the pretty half-timbered houses. You will also have the opportunity to taste some of France’s best wines as Alsace counts more that 100 wine producing villages. And the culinary side is not left out has the region has more Michelin star restaurants than any other region in France and there is a lot of delicious typical food to taste.

This tour starts on December 4th 2025 and finish on December 10th 2025.

You will be joining other travelers on this walking tour, which takes place on specific dates. But you have the freedom to explore the beautiful markets at your own pace and are not required to stay together throughout the journey !

From Colmar (transfer to Voegtlinshoffen) to Eguisheim

Your destination today is Eguisheim, but we will start your day with a taxi transfer at 9:40am to the beautiful wine village of Voegtlinshoffen. In this charming village situated in the middle of vineyards, you will make the visit of a cave and a wine tasting to learn more about the regionals wines.

From there, you will have a little walk through the vines to reach Eguisheim. Warm yourself with a mulled wine and discover the beautiful market stands.

Your day starts at 9am with a taxi transfer to Riquewihr, a village classified as “Most Beautiful Village in France”. Discover this lovely village and do not miss his famous Christmas shop "Féerie de Noël", more than a shop, a musuem where you will trully understand how Christmas is important in this region.

You will then walk through the vineyards where you will have a beautiful view on the Alsace valley, you will reach the beautiful village of Ribeauvillé, the medieval place, were you will be abble to wander in the town decorated with christmas lights.

From Ribeauville LOOP to Les Trois Châteaux

Starting from Ribeauvillé, this loop takes you on a journey through history and nature to discover the Three Castles perched above the valley. Winding through forests and rugged trails, you’ll first reach Château du Girsberg, followed by Château de Saint-Ulrich, which offers breathtaking views over the region.
