This Champagne bike tour is based in the key cities of the famous wine region : Reims and Epernay ! This is your gateway to the vineyards of the region and a chance to visit the most famous names in Champagne for a little tasting and education of this unique 'method'. Standing at the foot of the Regional Nature Park of the Montagne de Reims, and on both banks of the Marne, the Champagne vineyards are a spectacular sight all year round, displaying a whole host of different colours. Come and discover all the secrets of Champagne while cycling some rolling country roads where you can drop in to visit the cellars and taste the king of wines, including Hautvillers where Dom Perignon 'invented' the Champagne method. Walk down the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, lined with Champagne houses with their elegant architecture.

We loved the Champagne region and the scenic cycling routes. The booking process was smooth, and the Discover France team was responsive and professional. The hotel in Reims was excellent. However, the Roadbook app was very difficult to use, th ... e bike helmets didn’t fit well, and one of the accommodations (Villa Elizabeth) was not ideal. Still, we had a great trip and would book with Discover France again!

We had a wonderful time on our Discover France “Champagne Tour”. The bikes were great. The lodging was great especially the service at the hotel in Epernay.
