Arrival at Montpellier Train Station & transfer to Florac

Arrival to the Montpellier Saint Roch train station (old town), Sud de France train Station (outside town) train station where you will meet our guide who will transfer you to Florac to start your bike tour. Installation in your charming hotel, where you will have an orientation by our staff, and you can explore the town.

NOTE : In Montpellier train station, your guide will meet you at the "Informations point" on the first floor. (Check Train Station Map with the link).

From Florac to La Malène

To begin your stay you will leave Florac, capital of the National Park of the Cevennes, to join the Malène in the heart of the Gorges du Tarn. You will drive all along the Tarn, between fauna and nature, think of taking breaks to discover these sumptuous landscapes. Also take time to appreciate the calm of this magical place! You will cross small villages like Ispagnac or Sainte Enimie, classified among the most beautiful villages of France. Also think of stopping in Saint Chély du Tarn to admire its circus and its bridge.

Distance : 41 Km (26mi).

Elevation : 330 m.

From La Malène to Meyrueis

For this day, a new stage is offered to you, in the heart of the Gorges of the Tarn, you will walk in full nature. First of all, you will go down along the Gorges of the Tarn to arrive at the Rozier village, a famous stage that you will cross. Then direction the Gorges of Jonte where you will be able to stop to visit the Cave of Dargilan, then you will drive to reach Meyrueis your place of arrival of the day.

Distance : 44 Km (27 mi).

Elevation : 600 m.

From Meyrueis to Florac

During this stage, you will pass through many pretty little villages not far from the great forest of Aigoual, take advantage of breaks to visit the small villages or ride in their small streets. Then direction Florac, your city of arrival.

Departure from Florac

Today is departure day, you can take your time getting started in the morning, have breakfast and depart at your leisure.

Transfer to Montpellier (included) where you can add extra nights or catch a train to Paris. Transfer is scheduled for 09:30 am to the Montpellier TGV station or Old town. Allow 1 hour travel time before a train departure. If you need this transfer for another time, please let us know.
