The Véloscénie is a cycle route that starts in Paris and joins the Bay of Mont Saint Michel. This first part in 5 days will allow you to discover Paris, the Vallée de la Chevreuse, the Rambouilet Forest, the Chateau de Maintenon while passing through Chartres and its magnificent cathedral, through the Parc Naturel du Perche and finally arrive in Nogent le Rotrou and its magnificent castle. This itinerary is the most beautiful green way from Paris which can be done with family or friends because the profile is flat. If you wish, you can follow the second part from Nogent le Rotrou to the Mont Saint Michel to do the whole Véloscenie.

All in all, it was a very good trip. We particularly appreciated the authenticity of Domaine de Marguerite and the warm welcome at Colombier des Haches, where our host's hospitality and the beauty of the site made our stopover unforgettable. The ... bikes were of excellent quality, perfectly suited to the mixed roads, and very well maintained. We used the GPS tracks on the AllTrails app, which was a great help and made navigation smooth most of the time. There was just one minor incident with a punctured tyre, but otherwise everything went smoothly. This trip allowed us to discover some magnificent landscapes, charming accommodation and enjoy some delicious meals. Thank you to the Discover France team for this wonderful experience!

Overall, our adventure is going very well! The bikes are working well - we even managed to change a puncture ourselves this morning. The routes on Day 1 and today were superb and really enjoyable. Although the route was a little more demanding ... than we'd expected, we enjoyed the scenery and the opportunity to explore this beautiful region by bike. Thank you to the whole team for organising this trip, and for your responsiveness to every request. A wonderful experience, full of discoveries!

Today you will leave Paris where you will be able to admire on your way the Luxembourg garden, the fountain of the Observatory, the Orsay Museum, the Pantheon or the Sorbonne square.

Take the time to discover the charm of the capital. You will leave Paris via Montparnasse, do not hesitate to stop and climb to the top of the famous Montparnasse tower where you can admire a spectacular view. You will then head towards the outskirts of Paris, the Essonne and finally Janvry. The itinerary will take you to the Coulée Verte in the south of Paris.
