Awaken your senses. This bike tour of Provence will take you through the Provençal vineyards and charming stone villages. Immerse yourself in the true Provence countryside with its famous colorful and fragrant lavender fields. The tour starts in Avignon where you will get a chance to see the famous Avignon Bridge. Next it takes you to Châteauneuf du Pape, where you can taste their famous wine. It then takes you to Vaison la Romaine, a town full of Roman art and history, to Grignan, Beaumes de Venise and many more beautiful places. This is a bike tour full of colors and flavors!

The vineyards of the renowned appellation Côtes du Rhone de -Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Roquemaure, the 12th century medieval castle, where Pop Clement V died in 1314, Clansayes, you will find the Templar knights tower, The lavender areas around Grignan to La Garde dAdhemar, Grignan, you can explore this beautiful 16-17C chateau and learn the story of Madame de Sevigne.

My husband and I chose what appears to be the best time to visit Provence - early July, when lavender is in bloom! Special thanks to our tour agent Gabriel, who arranged everything for us: hotels were excellent and the all the logistics around c ... ycling superb - the guidance through app was easy to follow. We also appreciated recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing spots on the way - quite a few gems there that we might have missed otherwise, like for example L'Oustalet Michelin star restaurant in Gigondas . We rode hybrid bikes and were quite proud of ourselves after conquering occasional uphill on the route. I can definitely recommend this tour for couples and friends who like leisurely rides. Make sure you take time to stop a lot on the way to enjoy scenery and take photos!
