This self-guided cycling tour will take you to places brimming with exceptional charm and history; places that make Provence a uniquely rich and pleasant to experience on bike. The route is an open invitation to discover the most beautiful sites and secrets of the region. You will marvel at the engineering feats of the Pont du Gard (UNESCO site), a magnificent symbol of Roman life in the region. From Uzes to Nimes you retrace the path of the aqueduct, an enormously important invention that allowed the settlers to flourish throughout the region.
You will also discover the stories of Vincent Van Gogh and his life in Provence, cycling through and will the very landscapes that inspired his most famous paintings. At the Provencal markets, with their many indulgent scents and flavors, you will meet artisans who will share their local, handmade products, accompanied by a glass of wine sitting under the trees of the village! Throughout this holiday, the enchanting scenery and authentic personal moments will immerse you completely into another time, in a place of great beauty and profound character.
